Are you an Engine Programmer who loves getting your hands dirty with core game technology? We are a small, fully funded, independent studio working on a well-known IP, and we're looking for a talented and motivated Engine Programmer to join our team in Barcelona.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about making games run perfectly. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Dive into Unreal Engine 5: Build, optimize, and maintain core engine systems with a focus on delivering a high-performance and stable game experience.
Collaborate and Contribute: Work closely with our experienced gameplay programmers, designers, and artists. Your role is to understand their needs and provide them with the technical solutions and tools that empower them.
Solve Technical Challenges: Track down and fix performance bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and memory, ensuring our game runs smoothly on PC and console.
Build the Future: Help future-proof our engine technology by contributing to the development of custom tools and pipelines that make the entire team's workflow more efficient.
Grow with the Team: Work alongside the team, learning from their expertise and bringing your own ideas to the table. You'll be an integral part of our technical discussions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience as an Engine, Systems, or low-level programmer, with experience shipping at least one title.
Strong proficiency in C++ and a solid understanding of low-level systems programming.
Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, including tools like Unreal Insights and RenderDoc.
A passion for performance optimization, multi-threading, and memory management.
A great problem-solver who enjoys debugging and can solve tricky technical issues.
Someone with strong communication and teamwork skills who can effectively collaborate with a cross-functional team.

Competitive salary and a healthy work-life balance with 5 weeks of paid vacation. We believe in building a healthy, sustainable studio culture.
