At Bespoke Pixel, we’re all about creating something extraordinary. We’re a small, fully funded, independent studio working on a well-known IP, and we’re pushing boundaries when it comes to gameplay and quality. Our experienced team is a blend of creativity and technical brilliance—and now, we’re looking for an Environment Artist to join the team.
THE ROLE
If you love crafting beautiful, immersive, realistic worlds and have an eye for composition, locations, nature and light, you might be the person we’re looking for. You'll be part of a passionate crew working on a large-scale open world project where every hill, building, and shadow tells a story.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build, dress, and polish a stunning open-world that feels alive, real, logical, and is filled with both beauty, challenges while remaining open to player choice.
- Collaborate closely with our art director, game designer, the level design team, the tech team, and others to bring our world to life.
- Use your strong artistic sense of composition to guide the player's eye and shape unforgettable visual vistas.
- Help define and maintain visual consistency and story-telling across the world.
- Create entire biomes, as well human made structures such as roads, railways, buildings and tailor-made locations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A few years of experience building realistic-looking open world environments in games (bonus points if you've shipped a title!).
- A strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with industry-standard tools (e.g. Unreal, Maya, Blender, etc.
It is important for us that you are someone who enjoys an intensely collaborative environment, and participates in creative problem-solving, sometimes bringing brand new ideas to the table.
We also expect you to love immersive worlds and all the little details that make them feel real and intriguing.

Leading the team is David Polfeldt, Chip Go and Louise Tham. We have a combined industry experience of more than 60 years, working on acclaimed titles such as Star Wars Outlaws, Frontiers of Pandora, the Assassins Creed series, The Division, Far Cry, The Crew, For Honor, Ghost Recon, Southpark, Just Dance, and the classic RTS game World In Conflict.
